ICEA – INSTITUTE FOR ETHICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION
ICEA – Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification, it is among the most important organisms of the sector in Italy and Europe, with more than 13,000 companies checked, 300 engineers and 20 territorial operating structures in Italy and 10 offices abroad. It operates to favour fair and socially sustainable development, which extends from Organic Farming to other sectors of the Eco-friendly and Organic sectors.
AIAB – ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF ORGANIC FARMING
Aiab is the Italian Association of Organic Farming.
It was set up in 1982 and its mission is the care of the interests of Organic Farmers, through the promotion of Organic Farming as a model of a sustainable development, based on the principles of safeguard and enhancement of resources, environmental respect, animal welfare as well as consumers’ health.
Together with food certification, it also manages a standard for Organic Eco Cosmetics and Detergents.
The Vegan Society
The Vegan Society, based in the U.K. is one of the oldest Vegan associations in the world. It was established in 1044 and in 1979 it became a “registered charity”.

UNI EN 22716: 2008 The European Regulation on Cosmetic Products 1223/2009 requires that all cosmetic products placed on the European market comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): a set of practical instructions, operating rules and organizational guidelines described with the aim of ensuring the quality and safety of cosmetic products for the consumer. The ISO 22716 certification describes the Good Manufacturing Practices and was drafted with the contribution of the main players in the cosmetics industry and published by ISO (International Organization of Standardization). ISO 22716 certification guarantees compliance and respect with mandatory GMP requirements in the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. The certification mark of Bureau Veritas Certification has a range of international references in the field of cosmetics, is internationally recognized and attests the company’s commitment to safety and sustainability.
